Allusion Shelties - Shelties raised in the home,

for companion and show homes.

See our Puppies Page  for puppies that are currently available.

I have two tri-girls and a tri-boy that will be ready to go to new homes in late August 2026.  Pictures of puppies from past litters are now available at the bottom of our Puppies Page.

Would you like to have a hand drawn, one of a kind, commissioned portrait of you special friend?  See the Artwork Page for samples of Pam's recent works.

Pictured below is Winston, CH Allusion Cosme Finest Hour .  Winston became a champion on August 3, 2025.  See our Puppies Page for information on puppies sired by Winston and our Males Page for additional pictures of Winston.

For more than twenty-five years, Allusion Shelties has bred AKC Shetland Sheepdogs in Houston, Texas. Our dogs live alongside us in the home, and every litter is shaped by excellent temperaments, a love of learning, and a genuine desire to please.

The Allusion Approach

Temperament first. Always.

Raised in the home

My Shelties live with me as part of the household, socialized daily with the sounds, routines, and people that shape a confident, steady companion. A puppy that has learned the rhythms of family life carries that ease into its new home.

Bred for character

I breed AKC Shetland Sheepdogs that pair breed type with a willing, attentive temperament. The Sheltie's gift is its desire to please and its love of learning, and we protect those traits generation after generation in both companion puppies and champion show dogs.

Whether a puppy becomes a beloved family companion or steps into the show ring, the same standard applies: sound structure, a kind temperament, and the curiosity that makes a Sheltie a joy to live with and to train.

Responsible Puppy Guidance

What we ask of every puppy home

Sheltie is a long commitment. We work with buyers who are ready to meet that responsibility, and we encourage these  things in every home we place a puppy with.

Meet the breeder in person - Visit, meet the dam, the sire if available, and see how the puppies are raised. Ask questions. A responsible breeder welcomes questions and is open about health, temperament, and the day-to-day care behind every litter.

Plan for lifetime commitment - A Sheltie lives many years. Be ready for training, grooming, exercise, and veterinary care across the dog's whole life, and be certain the timing is right before you bring a puppy home.
